Joyce Meyer. Marriage Covenant 9. That's God's heart towards you, right now, today. So today, rejoice that God took away all of your sins when Jesus died on the cross, confess your sins, and believe that you are forgiven, and forgive yourself. Jesus said, "If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. Today, let the words of Jesus dwell in your heart deeply. If you walk in close relationship and connection with Jesus, then you can ask for any of your needs to be met, and the Lord will change things and move things around behind the scenes for you, to get your needs met and to help you through anything you faced today. Therefore I know that if I ask for anything, you will meet my needs in natural ways or supernatural ways, in Jesus' mighty name, amen! For instance, after the Exodus from Egypt, the Israelites felt like Moses and God were taking too much time.
So they made a golden calf and begin worshiping it. Later on in the history of Israel, the Israelites wanted a human king. The prophet said, "But we have a king God is never enough for humankind. We always want more, we always want something visible, something tangible, something physical. And yet, God never gives up on us. Be happy and rejoice today that we have a God who is faithful to us, slow to get angry, but full of compassion for us silly human beings.
What is your "golden calf"? Who is your "King Saul"?

Meaning, what is the thing or person that you are trusting in more than God today? Your income?

Your insurance? Your spouse? Today, renew your full trust in the Almighty God who has always been there for you, and remember that the golden calf and King Saul didn't work out too well for ancient Israel. You are compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in love and faithfulness, in Jesus' mighty name! God said to Moses' assistant Joshua in Joshua , "This book of the Law must not depart from your mouth; you are to recite it day and night, so that you may carefully observe everything written in it.
For then you will prosper and succeed in all you do. Sometimes you get cranky and grumpy. Sometimes you complain. Jesus understands.
Sometimes you get very angry. Sometimes you're just not motivated, just not inspired, and all you want to do is just sit there. Sometimes you want to be all by yourself and not have anybody around you. Sometimes you don't have much faith. Sometimes you're messy, and you don't stick to your diet, if you have one, but Jesus understands.
Sometimes you don't feel like you're enough, sometimes you feel like you don't do enough. Jesus understands YOU, even when you cannot understand yourself Romans 7: Hebrew , "For by one sacrifice He has made perfect forever those whom He sanctified. Did you catch that? Hebrew says God has made you perfect through Jesus!
Is There Not a Cause?
God has made YOU perfect! So NO more evaluating yourself based upon society's norms or standards of beauty or intelligence or accomplishment. When you know that you know that God has given you his 'thumbs up', then smile and enjoy your life. Help me to correct myself when my actions towards others are less than good. Help me to lighten up and go easy on myself when my behavior is less than perfect, in Jesus' mighty name, amen!
Hebrews , "Both the one God who makes people holy and those who are made holy that's us are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers and sisters. You don't have to make yourself holy; if you even could, there would have been no reason for God to send Jesus to take away our sins. This verse says Jesus is not ashamed to call us brothers and sisters, which is the Biblical way of saying that Jesus is proud of you, and He is proud to call you His brother or sister!
So since God had made you holy and since Jesus is not ashamed of you but proud of you, then be proud of yourself!
